With full schedules and a young family, these two physicians love to cook, entertain and therefore spend a lot of time independently and together in the kitchen. When it came to style preferences, he loves contemporary and she loves traditional old world. It was the designers challenge to please each without offending the other. The results speak for themselves, but the crowning achievement is the original tile mural, designed by Lois, that brings opposing worlds together with artistic excitement.

In the homeowners own words:
“We have had two events at our house, illustrating how well this kitchen works! First, there was Thanksgiving. Felice was working all day, so I was the family chef. The kitchen worked so well that I was actually ahead of my cooking schedule most of the day! It was inexplicably easy to cook in this kitchen that is laid out so well!
Second, we had a birthday bash for my mom’s 70th birthday. About 40 people with catered food and all that jazz. Most everyone hung out in or near the kitchen. The layout, esp. the island worked great for a buffet style dinner. Many people complimented the kitchen, esp the backsplash.
The backsplash looks phenomenal!!! One-of-a-kind!!!
Kudos!!! Thank You!!! Happy Holidays, Brian
